Difference Makers: Fall 2026
Our volunteers are the heart of our mission. Every year, hundreds of people generously give their time and talents to support The WellHouse and invest in the lives of our residents. We are sincerely grateful for their dedication, hard work, and servant hearts. Because of their support, we are able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those on their journey toward healing and restoration.
Since starting at The WellHouse in June, I have had the great privilege of working with some amazing volunteers alongside the employees and residents of The WellHouse. Our volunteers consistently go above and beyond to make our residents feel loved, supported, and valued.
We are proud to share that we currently host 25 regular volunteer-led classes, groups, and Bible studies on our campus. These opportunities include art therapy, sewing, Pilates, yoga, GED preparation classes, and many other enriching programs for our residents.
We would not be able to offer these valuable services and experiences without the dedication, compassion, and commitment of our incredible volunteers and donors. Their willingness to serve makes a lasting impact on the lives of our residents every day, and we are deeply grateful for all they do.
Mark your calendars for our quarterly volunteer training, happening on campus Monday, September 28th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Attendees will gain an overview of human trafficking, the impact of complex trauma on survivors, and the work we do through our residential program. Whether you're new to our mission or ready to get involved, you'll leave equipped to serve effectively. This required training is the first step to becoming a volunteer with The WellHouse. If you would like more information on how to get started as a volunteer, please reach out to volunteer@the-wellhouse.org.
