Rescue Update: Spring 2026

Over the past three months, we have had the honor of welcoming 19 new residents into our program, including 3 courageous minors. Each woman and young girl who arrives carries a story that deserves dignity, compassion, and hope. While their journeys here have come through many different paths and from several different states, 10 of these residents are from right here in Alabama. No matter where they come from, our mission remains the same - to meet them with safety, care, and the love of Christ as they begin a new chapter of healing.

Every intake is more than a number; it represents a life stepping out of trauma and into a place where restoration is possible. Our team approaches each conversation and assessment with a trauma-informed lens, understanding that trust is often fragile, and courage is required simply to walk through the door. We are continually reminded that healing begins when someone is seen, heard, and treated with patience and respect.

We also recognize that the work of rescue and restoration ultimately belongs to the Lord. As Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” It is a privilege to witness God gently restoring hope in the lives of those who come into our care.
