What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I serve as the Legal Coordinator for WellHouse residents, and I came on staff in 2024.
What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about my role is that I get to serve in a capacity that allows these women to leave our program with a fresh record and a blank slate reentering society.
Tell us about your educational and professional experience that equips you to be successful in this field.
I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science.

I loved being able to watch the survivors in our care complete their education!
Tell us about your journey coming into the anti-trafficking field and with The WellHouse.
I've always had a passion for working with youth, particularly in education. However, I found myself feeling unfulfilled and prayed for a role that aligned more closely with my Christian values and calling to ministry. While I hadn’t previously worked directly in anti-trafficking before coming to The WellHouse, my experience as a teacher, working in a youth residential facility, and serving in the juvenile detention center all prepared me for this kind of work.
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
Working at The WellHouse has challenged me to love and see everyone how Jesus does.
