What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I came on staff in 2026, and I serve as a Home Coordinator at the Stabilization Center.
What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part of my job is being able to share in Gods love not only to the beautiful lady’s coming into the program but along side of such a wonderful team that we have. I love being on the front line when we first get a lady come into the program and in just a few short weeks being able to experience the change not just on the inside but a lot of times on the outside as well. No matter how hard a day may be, being able to reflect back on the day I can see so many different ways Gods showing up and showing out.
Tell us about your educational and professional experience that equips you to be successful in this field.
Before coming to The WellHouse, I worked for ten years as a Case Manager for a faith-based Recovery program in Birmingham that served 500 women and 150 children.
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
During the interview process at The WellHouse, I prayed and asked God if he was sure about this change for me. At the time I felt so unequipped, but He put on my heart that He does not call the equipped - He equips the called. I am humbled and amazed on a daily basis that this wonderful place is not only where I am employed but also my second home. I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team!
